Who we are

MCG Digital Media, Grosvenor House, 11 St Paul's Square, Birmingham B3 1RB. For anything about your data, email gez@mcgdigitalmedia.co.uk or call 0870 300 9400.

Booking a call or sending an enquiry

When you book a discovery call or send a website project enquiry, we store the details you enter (such as your name, email, company, phone number, the service you're interested in and anything you tell us about your project), the page you used and, if you arrived from an advert or campaign link, the campaign tags from that link. We use these only to arrange your call or reply to your enquiry. Your details are stored securely with our hosting provider and emailed to Gez so he can get back to you. We never sell or share them for anyone else's marketing.

Cookies & Meta Pixel

We use Meta Pixel (dataset 1972528776395370) from Meta Platforms to measure page visits, completed call bookings and project enquiries, and how well our Facebook and Instagram adverts work. When allowed, Meta receives the page you viewed, a "Lead" event when a booking or enquiry has been successfully saved, your IP address, browser and device details, and advertising cookie identifiers. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account and use it under its own policies.

We do not send Meta your name, email, phone number, company, project details or booking time, and we don't use customer matching or server-side reporting.

In the UK, the EEA, Switzerland and anywhere we can't determine your location, Meta Pixel stays off until you choose Accept, or switch advertising cookies on under Manage, in our cookie banner. Elsewhere it may run without a banner, but turning advertising cookies off or your browser's Global Privacy Control setting is always respected. To find your country we ask our hosting provider; this doesn't send anything to Meta.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — it takes effect straight away and doesn't affect any booking or enquiry. Withdrawing stops future reporting but can't undo data Meta has already received.

What's stored in your browser

  • mcg_advertising_consent (local storage, up to 180 days): your cookie choice, when you made it and the notice version, kept so we can respect it.
  • _fbp and _fbc (Meta advertising cookies, typically up to 90 days): set by Meta only when advertising is allowed. _fbp recognises your browser; _fbc records an advert click.
  • mcg_attribution (session storage, cleared when you close the tab): campaign tags from the link you arrived on, only attached to a booking or enquiry you choose to send.
  • mcg_lead_event_… (session storage): stops the same booking or enquiry being reported to Meta twice.

Meta may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. See Meta's Privacy Policy and Meta's Cookies Policy. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or object to how we use them, by emailing gez@mcgdigitalmedia.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
